Ireland, June 3-12, 1998 - We leave MSP 6/2 and meet Kristen and Bob Feeney in Dublin. At the Royal Dublin Hotel we 'lose' our closet bedrooms for suites; Thursday, 6/4 - We take a great walking tour led by a Trinity U History grad; See 'Kevin's Bed' at the Abbey Theatre, great acting; Dublin Castle; St. Stephen's Green then tea.
Friday, June 5 - A Chinese fire drill where we get a 9-passenger van & trade it for a 6-passenger Nissan. Head South to Rossborough House where we discover my purse is missing. Then, after many calls, head to Glendalough to see the real Kevin's bed. Then tons of rain; 6/5 - Kevin's bed at Glendalough; 6/5 - The 11-passenger van we traded in (lost purse in the move!); Saturday, 6/6 - Head South and tour Parnell's House, Avoca, Waterford and stay at Annestown - great spot!
Tennis anyone? After lawn tennis then dinner we take tea in library, read poetry, play piano. Later, Bob & Jack play pool.
Sunday, 6/7 - A mass burial site for famine victims.
Then off to Cobh and Immigrants' Story and Cork; Night in Kinsale (stay at old Presbytery), sing Love and Marriage at dinner! Our last trip to Cork.
Monday, June 8 - Bantry House; So much rain in Kinsale so we skip a walking tour and head West. Stop in Skibbereen, Art Museum, Shull, Bantry then Kenmare for night. See Julia O'Connor our B&B hosts from previous trip.

Tuesday, 6/9 - Ring of Kerry; 6/5 - Glendalough (KBH late photo); 6/6 - Avoca (KBH)
Derrynane, home of Daniel O'Connor.
Off to see museum on Skellig Islands; Then Killarney and back to Kenmare.
Wednesday, 6/10 - Drive to Galway where we tour The Burren and driving rain. After dinner go to pub for dancing; Thursday, 6/11 - Quick drive through Galway; Then on to Famine Museum in Stokes town.
6/11/98 - Dressed for dinner. The quartet's last dinner together. We go to London for 2 nights (6/12-13). KBH and RF go North and West.
