"Louie and Susie, We've gone walking around the hotel neighborhood. Sites tomorrow are no open until noon. We can walk to Acropolis and hire a guide there and then on to the Museum. No doubt we'll all be up early for breakfast. Feel free to call after 8AM or slip a note under the door. Jack #410"
Friday, April 25, 1997 - Hills and Hoeschlers sightsee Athens; Changing of the guard at the palace.
It's Good Friday. We stop at a number of churches for services on the way to the Parthenon.

Saturday, April 26 - We fly to Samos; Meet up with China Belle and Moana Vahine captains and crew; Walk along quay; Pythagoras and his Triangle.
Sightsee the town.
Twilight walk to church; Blood red poppies; Caskets remains after 10 years under (dug up!); Ruins all over; Dinner in town.
April 27, 1997 - St. John Patmos, famous monastery and manuscripts; Eric Hollis; Joe finds Maltese yacht; Local chapel; Cave church.
Easter Sunday afternoon service at St. John Patmos.
4/8/97 - Monday, Sail to Leros; Joe shares Easter delight. Panali Bay (Leros). I try to swim here... but human pollution; Moana Vahine.
Bay of Yahti on Isle of Kalynnos. Dinner at taverna where waitress married for love and now feels trapped! 4/29/97 - Tuesday - Kos! Knights of Malta castle and fortress; Hippocrates plane 'Teaching Tree'
Eric dresses classically; Dressed up tourist.
After lunch Jack and I tour Kos; Archaeologist; Church cum cemetery.

After lunch, Jack and I climb hills; Susie climbs walls! May 1 - Sunshine en route Simi.
5/1/97 - Sunshine in Simi! After lunch in harbor, jack and I walk across to main town.
May 2, 1997 - We arrive in a rainy Rhodes! Must wear rain gear... but for Joe!
May 3 - Rhodes in sunny; The gang!
Knights Hospital, museum; Grand master's palace, 'Fixed up' by Mussolini.
Turkish baths; Quite a walled city!

Sunday, May 4 - We sightsee with Joe; First stop Lindos.
On to Ialysos, open due to imminent wedding!
