February 22, 1987 - Fly Cairo to Athens. Maku, our guide set up by Chah, meets us at airport. Check into our clean, Spartan hotel. First stop, Archaeological Museum, Athens; Found off Sicily.
Next, Cape Sounion & Temple of Poseidon (after fish dinner). Supposed spot where Aegeas jumped into the sea when he saw the black sails of Theseus' ship.

February 23 - Go to Cycladic Art Museum (stunning), then to Acropolis & its museum, & Benaki Museum with costumes.
Beautiful statues in the Acropolis Museum.
Athens on the Aegean, after noon of 2/23; February 24 - Four day tour starts. Pass Marathon, Thebes to Monastery of Ossio Lukas; Fine 11th C. Byzantine mosaics.
Oracle at Delphi. Splendid.

February 26 - Epidaurus; theater where plays still performed today: operations, health curses, etc. center of Ancient Greece; View from hotel; Naftali, summer palace.
February 27 - Mycenae. Agamemnon's Tomb & others excavated by Schliemann.
2/27 - Corinth. Fort on top of hill, ancient.
