Sunday, May 30 - Rabat views; En route Meknes, truffle salesman; Meknes Market.
Meknes, Imperial city built by Moulay Ismail. Royal stables for 12,000 horses & grooms, plus granaries.
With water vendors, Moulay Ismail; Moulay Idriss, names for the great, great grandson of the prophet.
Glorious Roman outposts, Yolubilis; Our guide shows ancient seats of relaxation in pools.

Monday, May 31 - Fez all day in the Medina; Leather dying; Community bakery; Wedding candles; Old home converted to a shop.

June 1 - Leave Fez for the desert; Lake District; Franciscan outpost; Toward our room in the Casbah Erfoud.
Desert road - to see sunset & full moon rise, Erfoud. Dunes of Merzouga; Italian hotel, will be drowned by dunes.
