Bilois Temple - Queen of Sheba. German archaeologists digging now after 2 year hiatus; "Trip is very interesting - a cross between Indiana Jones and Margaret Mead. Touring many interesting facilities and meeting pro-women (mostly engineers). Our visit is a big deal for them. Went to rural women's school; teach literacy, canning, handicrafts. Caught in tribal battle of militia. Saw Queen of Sheba Palace: good talk with German archaeologist. Best part is people to people aspect. Attractive country and people. Only 27 years since feudalism so are having to 'catch up' (and counteract interesting problems)"
